Welcome to Tread the Boards Theatre Company, the resident Company at the Attic Theatre, Cox’s Yard, Stratford upon Avon. Our vibrant, young company has played to sell out audiences around Warwickshire and the West Midlands. We produce professional, theatrical shows to enlighten and entertain audiences across Stratford and the UK.
Our Company uses imagination, creativity and ingenuity to put a contemporary twist onto classic works. We engage audiences through excellent story telling, allowing beautiful writing to flow off the page and onto the stage. We challenge people’s perceptions of traditional theatre and create original works inspired by established playwrights. Our productions open audiences eyes to endless creative possibilities.
The language and the characters are our key focus as we make literature accessible
to all. Our minimalist and visually stimulating sets give the actors room to draw
audiences young and old into the world the characters inhabit.
